■コンディション
カバーは本体と一体型。巻頭見返しに「食物の陰陽表」掲載。
全体的に経年によるヤケがあります。
表紙全体にやや目立つシミ・ややスレ・薄いくすみ・一部にシワ等、経年による傷みがあります。
また裁断面にシミ、巻頭見返しに数点のシミがあります。
本文は特に問題はありません。

●桜沢 如一 (さくらざわ ゆきかず、さくらざわ にょいち、さくらざわ じょいち、1893-1966)
　思想家、マクロビオティック（食養）の提唱者。
海外ではジョージ・オーサワ (George / Georges Ohsawa) の名で知られています。
マクロビオティックを日本、北米、中南米、欧州、インド、アフリカ、ベトナムに広めました。
玄米・食養の元祖 石塚左玄の食養会の活動に尽力し、数十の書籍を出版。
後に会長に就任。
　1940年には滋賀県大津市にその食養の理論を東洋思想の易を交えて独自展開する
無双原理講究所を開設。
次第に反戦活動へと傾倒していき、戦争がはじまると軍部や右翼から暴力を受けますが、
敗戦後は世界政府協会を作って、世界連邦運動に取り組み平和を追求することになります。
如一の没後は、マクロビオティック料理教室の校長を務めていた妻の桜沢里馬が日本CI協会の会長と
なりました。
　日本語の著書だけでも100を超え、フランス語や英語などでも出版されています。
