    ブロムシュテットによるベートーヴェンの交響曲全集が登場。
    オーケストラは、ブロムシュテットが1998年から2005年の7年間に渡ってシェフを務めた、ライプツィヒ・ゲヴァントハウス管弦楽団。
    現在も名誉指揮者として定期的に指揮台に立ち、絶大な信頼を獲得しています。
    ブロムシュテットは、2017年7月に90歳の誕生日を迎え、ACCENTMUS MUSICはこれを記念して、
    2014年から2017年の間に録音された同コンビによるベートーヴェン交響曲全曲のCDセットをリリース、大巨匠の栄光を讃えます。
    世界で最も古い伝統を誇る名門オーケストラ、ライプツィヒ・ゲヴァントハウス管弦楽団は、
    これまでにコンヴィチュニー、マズア、シャイーなどとベートーヴェン交響曲全集を残しており、それらも歴史に残る素晴らしいものでした。
    しかしブロムシュテットは同楽団の任期中にはベートーヴェンの全集録音をしておらず、今回待望の録音となりました。
    ブロムシュテット自身は、シュターツカペレ・ドレスデンと全集を録音しているので今回で2度目の全曲録音となります。
    ブロムシュテットの解釈は、ベートーヴェン自身のオリジナルのメトロノーム記号に従い、速めのテンポで運ぶ演奏は、年齢を感じさせない躍動感あふれるもの。
