    何十年も前のこと。初めて訪れた能登の海岸で、銀色にかがやく群生のアカシアに心を奪われて、acacia[アカシア]という歌を書いた。芳しい雨が降るようだった。
    この地方との不思議な関係が始まった。
    わずかな時間を見つけては何度も通い、人に逢った、風景に逢った、文化に逢った。私の大切な部分をかたちづくった。
    自分にとってこんな場所は、世界中探してもどこにもない。

    チャリティはどこか腑に落ちないところがあって、いままで積極的にはやってこなかった。でも、世の中に受け入れられ、ここまでやって来られたからには、もっと世の中に恩返しすべきと、最近思うようになった。そんな時にこの能登のこと。運命を感じた。

    歌とともにこころを寄せる。それは想いを運び、人を癒すと信じる。歌をつくり、届ける人間としての信念でもある。

    もしかしたら自分だったかもしれない。その想像力が、人を人にする。この国に生まれたのならなおのこと。

    日本のあちこちで、世界の至る所で、ふるさとを無くし悲しみと途方にくれている人々が増え続けている。これからも増えることだろう。

    「たとえ世の中がどうなろうとも、他者を思いやる気持ちだけは忘れないように」
    もう亡くなってしまった、金沢の恩人の言葉。いまの私のために言ってくれた贈り物のように感じる。

    みんな、繋がっている。

    石川県・内灘町に群生していた、アカシアの花々が書かせてくれた歌。
    目に見える姿形はたとえ失われたとしても、心に刻まれたふるさとや大切なひとを、何ものも奪うことは出来ない。
    あらためて、被災された方々へ、祈りをこめて。

    ロシア出身のDJ、ニーナ・クラヴィッツが、この歌に新しい命を吹き込んでくれた。
    テクノとはユニティ。ニーナとは、初めて会ったときから、お互い何かが繋がっていた。
