    河北省安県出身。
    画家。
    字は封、号は。
    清新な花鳥画を描くことで評価が高い。
    あでやかで色彩も豊富。禽鳥類の姿は生き生きとしており、筆さばきは屈託がなく自己の風格を成している。
    1926年に前北京国立芸術学院を卒業後、学院の講師、教授を歴任する。
    1953年に北京中国画研究会副主席となる。
    1956年には中国文化代表団の団員として、欧州を歴訪した。
