    2010年に85歳を迎えたピエール・ブーレーズ。作曲家として、セリー音楽の推進から電子音響技術の活用まで、常に革新的な作品を通じて現代音楽界に大きな足跡を残すとともに、指揮・著述・組織運営にわたる広範な活動を展開。そのいずれにおいても刺激的な創造性に富んだ多大な影響力を発揮して、第二次大戦後の西洋音楽界をリードし続けてきました。そしてその業績により「稲盛財団：2009年度京都賞」を受賞しました（京都賞は、2005年度にアーノンクールが受賞。第１回の1985年度にブーレーズの師であるメシアンが受賞しています）。
     それらを記念して、1964～1980年頃にＣＢＳに録音したブーレーズの名演奏の数々が再発売となります。DGなどに多くの作品の再録音をしているブーレーズですが、クールながら情景を力強く描いた当時の演奏を、もう一度聴いてみましょう。入手困難になっていた録音も数多く収録されています。（ソニー・インポート）
