    マーク・ニューソンがデザインを手掛けた、タオルハンガーです。

    アレッシィ社より発売されました。



    中央に「スポーク」がある円形の物体。この複雑な形状はフックの機能を果たしており、

    フォード 021C ステアリング ホイールやオーロタンドのウォール ライトにも反映されています。

    1963年、オーストラリア生まれのプロダクトデザイナー。

    シドニー大学を卒業後、1987年からは当時アジアで最も成功発展を遂げた都市と言われた東京に拠点を移し、

    家具メーカーである「IDEE」と契約し、家具のデザインを担当。

    その後パリへ渡り、ヨーロッパにある家具会社のデザインを請け負い、

    1997年には自身がCEOを務める「マーク・ニューソン社」をロンドンで設立。

    2005年に"世界で最も偉大な100人"に選出されている。
