    柳宗理関連の書籍には必ずと言ってもよいほど掲載されている、寺岡精工所の秤。

    目盛り盤にある緑色の大きな丸は柳総理の考えで視認性のよさを追求したデザインとなっています。
    中央部分は丸く覆われ、目盛り盤は高級感があります。

    ディテールにこだわった結果、非常に高いお値段となってしまい、“秤のベンツ“と呼ばれたほど。

    斬新なかたちだけでなく機能性にも優れているといった、寺岡精工所の高い技術と柳宗理の斬新なデザインが相まって、飛ぶように売れその後の”はかり“の世界で確固たる地位を築くものとなりました。

    1963年には、「ノーブル」と呼ばれる横皿秤が誕生。
    ショーケースのような高所に置いても映える美しさと機能性を両立させました。
    そして1969年には、ノーブルを原型に内部構造や皿の形状を大胆に改良し、更なる進化を遂げた新たな秤が誕生しました。
