    寿老人は福禄寿と同じ中国、道教の神で南極星の化身です。
    髭をたくわえ、長寿の象徴である亀に乗り、難を払い運を呼び込むとされる団扇を持った、優雅なお姿です。

    長寿をあらわす寿老人は、白髪の円満なお顔の老人で、よく傍(かたわら)に鶴と鹿が描かれます。

    この神は南極星が神格化された神で、人の寿命を司どるので寿星とも呼ばれています。

    鋳型に金属を高圧で流し込み凝固させるダイカスト製法は、他の鋳物に比べて精度が高く、鋳肌が滑らかで美しく仕上がるのが特徴です。

    「仏師」の繊細な技術と現代の鋳造法が融合して出来上がった仏様のお顔は、とても繊細で美しく存在感があります。
