    ガラス作家 大室桃生さん作のガラスボウルです。

    ガラスの粉末を型の中で熔融して成型するガラス工芸の技法パート・ド・ヴェールにて製作されたアイテム。

    硬質で透明感のあるガラスのイメージを覆す、柔らかな表情が特徴的。

    こちらはアートワークにも掲載されていないことと、前所有者様の購入時期から推測すると初期に近い年代の作品と思われます。

    特徴的なのは金属のパーツが用いられている点。

    ジオメトリックなパターンに赤色のクロス、銅色の針金がアクセントとなっています。

    花柄など可愛らしいパターンから素朴でモダンな作品まで手掛ける大室桃生さん。

    パート・ド・ヴェールの特性上、器としての使用はやや難しく感じてしまいますが、様々な用途を想像させてくれるのも魅力の1つです。
