    『吉原遊君すがた』は、奥村政信（1686-1764）による紙本木版墨摺りの作品で、宝永頃（1704-11）に制作されました。海の見える杜美術館が所蔵しています。

    額装してご紹介しようと考えましたが、和本そのままでまずは掲載することにいたします。

    木版画の魅力は、なんといっても多色摺りならではの鮮やかな発色にあります。多いものは20回から30回もの摺りを正確に重ね、独特の鮮やかな色調を表現しています。

    ふっくらとした厚みのある和紙の肌触り、和紙に染み込んだ絵の具の風合いから、優しい温かみを感じることができます。
