    -----有田従弟校-----
    「有田徒弟学校」は有田の業界が好調であった明治28年(1895)に、東京美術学校の教授でもあり著名な日本画家の川崎千虎を破格の月報で校長として迎え開校されました。
    陶磁器の品質改良、生産性向上が目的でした。

    学校とは言っても生徒は既に職人として形成され活躍している人達で更に技術の向上を目指すのが目的で、レベルは相当高度で進級も厳しく多くの落第者が出たそうです。
    しかし財政不良に陥り、明治33年（1900）4月に廃校となり県に移管され県立佐賀工業学校有田分校（現在の県立有田工業高校セラミック科の前身）となりました。
