    □江戸後期の女流歌人　横山桂子　肉筆古書　　
    古い歌集の中から出てきたもので、横山桂子の直筆と思われます。書面には「月前紅葉」が記されております。画像を参考にご判断ください。

    ○経年の傷み、汚れなどはあります。

    ●寸法：15.5×107㎝

    横山桂子(よこやまかつらこ)　　寛政12年～安政2年8月20日(1800-1855)
    江戸後期の女流歌人。名、みち・三千子。号、月の舎・月舎・天香。本姓、大村。父、大村成富。横山平馬の妻。横山由清の養母。江戸出身。伊予吉田藩主夫人の侍女。女官となり本間游清に和歌を学ぶ。「月前紅葉」と題した詠歌が仁孝天皇の目にとまり、"桂子"の名をあたえられ、女官となる。56歳。歌集：「桂の花」。
