    興 隆 寺


    西山興隆寺（にしやまこうりゅうじ）は、愛媛県西条市（旧:周桑郡丹原町）にある

    真言宗醍醐派の別格本山。山号は仏法山。詳しくは仏法山仏眼院興隆寺と称する。

    紅葉が有名で、紅葉の名所である「西山」を付して「西山興隆寺」と呼ばれている。

    四国別格二十霊場の十番霊場でもある。  

    高縄山系の東のふもと、海抜100ｍから300ｍに位置し、

    周囲の山々に溶け込んだ景色が美しい。特に紅葉の名所として知られ、

    「もみじの西山興隆寺」として知られている。

    紅葉の見頃はその年の気候条件によって若干前後するが、

    例年11月初旬から12月初旬。

    この時期には多くの紅葉狩り客や写真愛好家が

    愛媛県内をはじめとして各地から訪れる。

    興隆寺は、皇極天皇の時代に、空鉢上人によって創建された。

    報恩大師、弘法大師が入山し、桓武天皇の勅願寺ともなっている。

    その後、源頼朝、河野家、歴代の松山藩主、

    小松藩主をはじめとする地域の人々に大切に守られてきた。

    現在では、別格本山となっている。

    興隆寺は、多数の国・県・市指定文化財を有しているが、

    うち展示可能なものや代表的なもの一部について、例年、秋季特別展示が行われる。

    1961年 中国山西省生まれ

    1979年 山西省臨猗芸術学校卒

    1988年 陝西省西安中国画院修了。同院芸術部画師。

    1997年 来日 四国八十八ヵ寺の創作活動。愛媛県砥部町にアトリエを主催。


    以降、個展、合同展、展覧会への出品多数。
