    一針一針手縫いで作るタペストリー作家の作品「源氏物語」。

    25年前に手しごとを始めた際の第一作。
    源氏物語・宇治十帖「東屋」の物語絵をモチーフとしており、この絵の中心である浮舟と中君を描いています。

    十二単には本物の着物生地を使用しているため、押さえには大変苦労したようですが、美しい出来栄えになっています。
    作家本人曰く「特に苦労したのは畳に見えるような生地探しだった」とのこと。
    フレームとなる周囲の柄の生地の組み合わせにも同じものはありません。細かい部分もどうぞお楽しみください。
