        商品名    形状の佳い伊勢青石の「研磨した遠山石」
        水石の種類    遠山石
        産   地    三重県伊勢市中村町、「御側橋」（おそばはし）川下の五十鈴川の川原
        サイズ    左右の最長幅（底面）約16.8cm、高さの最高値約7.5cm、前後の最大幅約4.5cm
        重   量    約760g
        石   質（岩石名） 伊勢青石（角閃岩）
        形   状    中央の右寄りに頂峰のある孤峰を成す遠山石です。詳細は掲載画像にてご確認下さい。
        台   座    端材板で作製の仮台（平台）です。
        備   考    この石は、全体が川泥にまみれていましたが、底面に曹長石の残存白脈がきれいに裾
                     袴を見せていましたので、水洗をし底面を平坦にカットの上、艶出し研磨をして鑑賞
                     用の「遠山石」に致しました。
                     やや背面に傾いていますが、台座を作り替えれば、伊勢青石ながら「神居古潭石」を
                     思わせるような、緻密な緑色岩の良石です。
