    英国のダートマス地方でパブやお土産物用として盛んに作られていたさかな形の水差しです。

    水を注ぐときに「ゴボゴボ」と音がすることから、「Gurgle Jogガーグルジャグ」とも呼ばれます。
    ほかに、グラッグル・ジャグ（Gluggle Jug）、グラッグ・ジャグ（Glug Jug）、ガーグル・ジャグ（Gargle Jug）などいろいろな呼び方があるようです。
    当方は試したことはありませんが、「ゴボゴボ」音をだすにはコツがいるようです。

    緑色のほか豊富な色彩の種類がありますので、イギリスではポピュラーなコレクティブル・アイテムになっているようです。

    魚の口の部分に１カ所雑な作りの部分があり、小さなチップ、底の部分にも小さなカケがります。（写真参照）

    お土産物、日用品として作られた陶器のため、あまり上質な陶器ではないようです。
