    沖縄のお土産として人気のホタルガラスは、とんぼ玉と同じようにバーナーワークと呼ばれる成形技法を用いて作られた穴のあいたガラス玉です。

    職人がひとつひとつ色の付いたガラスを溶かして鉄心に丸め、水飴のように溶けた状態のガラスに、銀箔（ぎんぱく）を重ね、特殊な技法で美しい色を表現しています。

    ＊ホタルガラスは一つ一つ職人の感覚でサイズを決め、日々の気候によってサイズ±1mm誤差が生じますので予めご了承ください。
