    今回紹介するお品物は、マルセル・ブロイヤーが1925年にデザインした、世界初のスチールパイプを使用した椅子、B3 Wassily（ワシリーチェア）のミニチュア版。

    バウハウスの教授、Wassily Kandinsky（ワシリー・カンディンスキー）の為に、
    デザインされた画期的なチェアとして、MoMAの永久収蔵品になっています。

    1989年にオープンしたヴィトラ・デザイン・ミュージアムは3000脚以上のコレクションを所有する世界No1の建築や家具デザインの美術館です。

    今回ご紹介するイームズの椅子は1/6サイズに忠実に再現されたお品物です。
    ネジの1本1本まで再現されています。

    ミニチュアシリーズはヴィトラ美術館の運営費を生み出す一環としてスタートしたプロジェクトとしても知られています。

    オリジナルの素材や製造方法を再現する為、ドイツとポーランドにある工房では
    年間80から500脚のミニチュアしか製作できない徹底ぶりです。
    尊敬に値する精巧さです。
