    当店の商品は、修復には100パーセント自然由来の塗料・材料を使用しております。
    商品がつくられた当時と同じレシピを守った、家具にも負担の少ない修復方法で、
    家具と共に過ごす家族の体にも優しいアンティークです。
    天然素材は熱やアルコール、水分を長時間放置することに弱いので、ご使用の際にはご注意ください。

    こちらは1720年ごろつくられたレジアンス様式のミラーです。

    ルイ14世から15世へと王政が移る際、まだ幼いルイ15世王の代わりにオルレアン公フィリップが政務をとった時代をレジアンス様式（レジャンス様式）と言います。
    ルイ14世様式の気高く重厚な華やかさから、ルイ15世様式（ロココ）の自由で軽快な表現へと移り変わるさまが見られるのが特徴です。

    こちらのミラーはそんなレジアンス時代に作られたもの。
    じつに300年もの長い年月と約1万キロもの距離を越えて 今この日本で目にできることは
    奇跡という以外に見つかる言葉はありません。

    職人が丁寧に彫り出したフレームは、線が歪んでいたり花やアカンサスの装飾もぴったり対称ではなかったりと、一見不格好ともいえる様ですが
    すべての作業が手仕事で便利な道具もなかった当時に、このように装飾性の高いアイテムで室内を飾っていたことを思うと、やはりその美的感覚の高さに感嘆の声をあげざるをえません。
    （当時の日本は江戸時代、お侍さんが街中を闊歩していた頃 と言えば少し想像しやすいでしょうか）
    飾られているモチーフは立体的に前方にせり出して、非常にボリュームがありゴージャスな造りになっています。

    当時一般的な階級では手の届かなかった、非常に装飾性の高いゴージャスなミラー。
    上流階級者のお屋敷で、ドレスを纏った華やかな貴族たちの姿をたくさん映してきたことでしょう。
    300年もの歴史を刻んだこのミラーが今目の前にあること、残してきてくれた先人たちの想いに心から感謝するとともに
    これから先またさらに長く「奇跡」を紡いでいってくれることを祈っています。
