    上開きタイプの天板で、中には小物収納、天板裏にはミラーがついたチェスト、バチェラーズチェスト(バチュラーズチェスト)です。
    強い個性を感じるわけでもなく、それでいて十分な存在感のある、イギリスアンティーク家具らしいたたずまいのお品です。
    元々は独身男性用の身だしなみチェックのためにミラーがついているのですが、ミラーを抜きにしてもこうした上開きの収納がついているのは男女問わず使いやすそうですよね。
    シンプルなものが多いのも、男性用だからでしょうかね。
    取っ手金具もかっこいい雰囲気です。
    取っ手金具を見比べるだけでも、それぞれに個性があり、アンティーク家具の奥深さを感じます。
    下の引き出し部分は、通常のチェストのように衣類や小物などを収納できそうです。
    バチェラーズチェストとしては少し背が低めなのも珍しいですね。
    定番サイズのものより足が短いのでシルエットとしてもどこか可愛らしい印象を受けます。

    天板に合わせ目のすき間、前面上部にキズ、左側面に虫穴、ミラーにカケと腐食がありますのでお写真でご確認ください。
