    一般的なご案内では下記となります。


    ①馬毛ブラシで、土やホコリなどを落とす
    (革靴についたホコリやチリといったゴミを払い落とすときに使います。

    馬の毛は、固すぎず柔らかすぎず、ほど良いしなやかさがあるので、ホウキのようにパパッとゴミを払い落とすことができます。

    革靴にゴミがついていると革靴が汚く見えるだけでなく、革の水分を吸い取って革の乾燥を早めます。

    乾燥が進みすぎると、やがてひび割れや色あせといった問題が起き、さらに革靴が汚くボロボロになってきます。

    ②豚毛ブラシで、靴に塗ったクリームをなじませる
    (豚の毛で作られたブラシで、靴に塗ったクリームを伸ばす（なじませる）ために使用します。)



    馬毛ブラシは、毛の密度が比較的濃く、毛足が長いのが特徴的なブラシです。しなやかで弾力（コシ）のある馬の毛は、靴の土やホコリを落とすのに最適です。
    クリーナーなどで汚れを落とす前に使います。
    また、一日履いた靴をサッとブラッシングしてあげることで、革をキレイな状態に保つことができます。

    豚毛ブラシは、馬毛に比べるとコシが強いのが特徴的なブラシです。
    クリームを馴染ませるだけでなく、革にクリームを馴染ませるのに適しています。

    豚毛ブラシはクリームを塗った後に使います。
    （革質によってはデリケートなものもあるので、傷つけるんじゃないかと心配な方は、はじめは力を入れすぎない方が安全かもしれません。）



    また、強めに素早くブラッシングすることで、豚毛特有の毛の硬さで摩擦熱が発生し、その熱によってクリームがより革へ浸透しやすいという効果もあるようです。
