    次世代ゲームは次々情報が入ってきますが、レトロゲーにゃそれがない
    で、まとめ本は懐かしさ爆発、レトロゲー情報がかえって新鮮で、つい買っちゃうんですよねー^ ^


    さて出品の本は四半世紀の昔、1997年(平成9年)にリリースされていたソフトカタログ的一冊
    サターン登場の94年から約3年の間にリリースされた430本を紹介するというコンセプト


    RPG、アクション、アドベンチャー等々ジャンルを分け、一作品を1ページ or 1/2ページ or l/4ページ枠で紹介
    タイトル、発売日、値段、パブリッシャー名、メモリーブロック数を見出しにゲーム概要やアピールが添え書きされ、ゲーム画面が1~3枚程度掲載されています


    ちょっと面白いのは、本にリアルタイム性ある点


    今時のまとめ本の様に「当時を振り返る」ではなく、サターンが最高潮時にそのソフト群をアピールするため発行されてます
    そのため紹介に勢いがあり、忘れられたマイナーソフト・もはや忘れたいクソゲーまで紹介され、雑多で賑やかな一冊に仕上がっています＾＾
    （これにはクソゲーマニアもニッコリ）


    得体が知れない周辺機器紹介も泣かせてくれます^ ^


    本を読み終えて改めて感じるのは、各ジャンル豊富なリリースがあり、実験的コンセプトのゲームも多く、宝石のような時代だったのだな、という事です


    ゲーム機は性能より、ゲーム製作のし易さに重点をおき発展すべきだったのかも


    中小ソフトハウスでリリースできる障壁の低さが、3年700本以上ものリリースに繋がっている訳です
    様々なリリースのなか、様々な年齢層・嗜好を持つ人が集まってゲーム機が盛り上がり、後に続くIPも生まれるのではないかな~と
