    この生地は丹後で織られた縮緬ですが
    通常の一越縮緬より撚りが強く織ってあるのでとても重量感あり厚手の織物です
    糸も絹でなくシルックを使って織って有るので扱いが簡単です、
    シルックはポリエステルの繊維ですがごく絹に近い性質をもっていて普通のポリエステルとは異なります、
    したがいまして　友禅染のお品は絹織物と区別が付かない位です
    この友禅染の作品は赤茶色系の一色の中に金茶色とブルー系のいろをわずかな分量を配したスッキリしたお着物地です
    お着物通のお方のセンスが試される面白味のある着物地です

    小紋について
    現在では小紋と言う呼び名は商品名になっていますが、もともとは染色をする上での型紙の呼び名です、
    他に中型、大型等の型紙の種類があります、
    小紋型は江戸小紋などでお馴染みのこととおもいますが、
    巾が２０センチ位のものから有りその小さな型紙を継ぎ目をピッタリ合わせて一反の長さに糊置きして染色します、
    今では染色方法も多様化して様々な技術を駆使して染色していますが、
    大柄模様、小柄模様を含めて、又染色方法の技法を問わず小紋と呼ばれようになっています、
