    インドネシア・特売！ランプンの伝統技術・USUS刺繍のクバヤ（シャンパンゴールド）
    南スマトラのランプン州には、インドネシアでもここだけという独特の刺繍文化があります。地元では「Sulaman Usus（腸刺繍）」と呼んでいます。別名「Usus Ayam（鶏の腸）」とも言われています。というのも、その形状が、確かにニワトリの腸に似ているのです。ちょっと不気味な命名ですが、刺繍そのものは、見事としか言いようのない、大変豪華で、それでいてとても都会的な感じがします。 製作方法がとても変わっています。まずサテン地を幅2cmのヒモ状に切り、中に針金を入れて真っ直ぐに縫っていき、縫い終わったらサテン地をひっくり返すために、針金で端を引き抜きます。そして縫い目が見えないようにアイロンで伸ばすと、05cm幅ぐらいの細いヒモが完成します。このヒモを、あらかじめ作っておいた、丸や花などの幾何学模様が描かれた板の上に、模様に沿ってしつけ縫いしていきます。その後、ヒモとヒモとの間を職人さんが一針一針、クロス縫いでつなぎ一枚の布を完成させます。 以前には、クッションカバーや扇子、枕カバー、ベッドカバーなどに、この刺繍技術が応用されていましたが、ようやく衣類にも使用されるようになってきました。このクバヤ（女性の上衣のことです）は、とっても丁寧に作られた最高級レベルのもので、地元でさえなかなか入手が困難な出来栄えです。2002年4月に首都ジャカルタで開催された『全国工芸品博覧会』に、ランプン州政府が特別出品した貴重な試作品なのです。デザインもとてもオシャレで、そしてゴージャスな雰囲気を醸し出しています。結婚式などのパーティーにもぴったりでしょう。 サイズはS-Mです。着丈は約110cm、後丈が約96cm。肩幅約38cm、袖丈約62cm、胸幅約38cm。左右に伸縮性があります。ボタンはアメ色のプラスチック製。下にタイトなロングスカートやストレートのパンツを組み合わせると素敵です。ネックラインがとっても綺麗に見えるデザインで、体のラインに沿ってフィットする形になっています。 通常は\36,000#です。
