    京都府出身の日本画家

    昭和23年 京都市立美術専門学校日本画科を卒業
    昭和24年 創造美術展に初入選
    昭和26年 創造美術協会が新制作派協会と合流し、新制作協会日本画部となって以後、同会に出品
    昭和29年 第18回展で新作家賞を受賞
    昭和33〜35年 3年連続で新作家賞を受賞し、昭和36年　同会会員となる
    昭和41年 現代日本美術展で「草曼荼羅」が優秀賞を受賞
    昭和45年 京都市立芸術大学助教授、昭和50年 同大学の教授に就任
    昭和51年 イタリアに渡る
    身近な自然を題材に写実的描写の作風を展開
